Welcome to The Dogfather Puppy School.

I am situated in the Helderberg basin, Strand area and puppy training classes take place on my property in a fully secured garden.

I have been involved with horses and dogs for the most part of my life, especially dogs in the latter part. German Shepherd dogs are my passion, I own three of them (Ice, Gabby & Asia) and have formally trained and shown (Gsd’s) for the past 15 years.

A new puppy in the family should be nothing but fun, pleasure and pure joy. Our aim is for you to firstly have fun at our classes, but at the same time learn about puppy care and training and aid your puppy to become a well socialised, balanced and adjusted adult.

We follow rewards based training methods based on the principals of positive reinforcement. Classes are kept small to ensure that you receive lots of personal attention.

My classes are available to puppies between the ages of 8 weeks and 20 weeks (puppies) must not be older than 16 weeks at the start of the course). All breeds of puppies are welcome.
